Description
Austria: From 323 km² in 1995 to 167 km² in 2025 — nearly half the glaciers gone.
Italy: From 9.6 km² in 1995 to just 2.8 km² in 2025 — only 29% remaining.
Norway: From 28.3 km² in 1995 to 15.8 km² in 2025 — about 53% remaining.

The project underscores the irreversible consequences of climate change on UNESCO-protected glaciers and aims to raise awareness about the urgent need for action. By combining scientific data with impactful design, Melting Glaciers turns abstract climate statistics into a stark visual story that no one can ignore: what was once white and frozen is vanishing before our eyes.
