Description
For this project, I took part in a music video by the band Grand Hotel Schilling, led by Georg Pop, who is also the lead singer. My twin sister and I were invited to appear in the video as supporting characters, playing a pair of twins whose short but memorable appearance adds a narrative twist to the storyline.
In the video, we are shown driving past the band, who are stranded on the roadside with a flat tire. What begins as a seemingly ordinary encounter quickly turns unexpected — instead of stopping to help, we keep driving and eventually rob a gas station.
The scene plays with humor and irony, subverting audience expectations and adding an element of surprise to the visual narrative. Our roles contributed to the overall storytelling by providing a quirky, cinematic break that complements the tone and energy of the song.
Participating in this project allowed me to experience collaborative filmmaking in a music video context, working closely with musicians, a director, and a production team to bring a creative concept to life through performance, visual rhythm, and narrative contrast.
