Green Tech Valley approached my university with a bold challenge: to visualize a utopian future where CO₂ is no longer harmful waste, but a valuable resource. In response, a student team—including myself—was formed to develop a short animation that reimagines the role of carbon emissions 50 years from now.
Our concept centered around a future in which exhaust gases are fully captured and transformed through an innovative system that converts CO₂ into protein. This vision reflects a radical shift in how we think about sustainability—turning today’s waste into tomorrow’s nourishment.
Together with my team, I helped shape the story and concept. I was responsible for illustrating the second part of the animation, which focuses on the futuristic greenhouse where CO₂ is transformed into edible proteins. My colleague, Laura Weixler, illustrated the other part of the animation, while Lovro, our media designer, handled the technical aspects and overall media integration. The result is a hopeful, clean, and visionary look at what green innovation could make possible.
