Description

The Gamification project transforms interaction into play through a retro-inspired design language. At its core, it combines game mechanics—points, levels, challenges, and rewards—with an engaging visual identity that instantly feels playful and immersive.

The design direction leans into nostalgia: pixelated typography and characters create a video-game-like atmosphere, bridging the digital past with modern functionality.

This mix of pixel aesthetics, bold colors, and interactive mechanics makes the project not just a tool for engagement, but an experience in itself—inviting users to explore, progress, and enjoy every interaction.

We named it Mighty because the app transforms something as simple as a to-do list into a powerful, motivating tool. While traditional lists can feel mundane or overwhelming, Mighty reframes tasks as small but heroic challenges. Each completed item is a “mighty” achievement, reinforcing the idea that progress—no matter how small—adds up to something significant.

In Mighty – The To-Do List, we focused on the Achiever and Socializer player types, as they best reflect the experience we wanted to create. Achievers are motivated by progress, milestones, and rewards, which aligns perfectly with turning tasks into measurable wins through gamification. Socializers, on the other hand, find joy in connection and shared experiences, and the app encourages this by making progress visible, fun, and easy to celebrate together. By combining these two types, Mighty transforms productivity into both a personal challenge and a shared journey.
