For this project, I explored the cyanotype process, one of the oldest photographic printing techniques. Cyanotype is a camera-less printing method that uses a mixture of ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, which reacts to UV light exposure. When objects or negatives are placed on a light-sensitive surface—usually paper or fabric—and exposed to sunlight, they leave behind white silhouettes on a deep blue background after rinsing with water.
